Whenever Latarem appears, it is with a gift to display generosity. The form they take will feature a leaf covering its mouth.

Influence

Latarem’s blessing appears as a swirl of leaves falling around the intended recipient. It grants them constitution or strength.

A blessing of Latarem often helps with personal growth or plant growth and those that pray often find seeds and are filled with the feeling of hope. Due to this, folks beseech Latarem to bless fields of crops, for protection of livestock and sturdy homes.

Realm

In the afterlife, the followers of Latarem will find themselves on a disc floating in a realm of stars: Lata-sono.

Upon the disc are living things on both faces. The top of the disc is always lit in a warm golden light. The bottom is always enveloped in Darkness.

The souls in this afterlife can travel across the top and bottom of the disc and are usually invisible, appreciating the growth and life of the “dark plants” beneath and the “light plants” above. It is said that the plants sustain each other.

If a traveler makes their way to Lata-sono, they will find it is a realm of absolute silence. They will hear the sounds they make and their own voice. Nothing else makes sound here on its own.
