Code of Conduct

Outlined below are the rules and formats that members of the server should adhere to, the way our punishment system works and where people can go with problems, questions, feedback and contributions.

Server rules

Domos stands for a socially safe environment and an inclusive culture with respect and space for everyone, while observing common values and standards of decency. Not adhering to such standards or breaking one of the rules below, may result in a mute, strike or a ban.

  • Follow the discord guidelines: https://discord.com/guidelines

  • You must be 18 or up.

  • Be respectful, civil, and welcoming. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

  • Discriminatory language and hate speech is forbidden.

  • Use the Yellow Card or X-Card when necessary and respect other people’s usage of them.

  • Do not share graphic/disturbing content or pornographic/adult/other NSFW material.

    • Disturbing subjects like self-harm and suicide should be avoided.

    • Use spoiler brackets and trigger warnings when you are unsure if a subject might go too far.

  • Leaking personal information of others is prohibited. Respect others' privacy.

  • Do not misuse or spam any of the channels.

  • Promoting content or other servers is allowed, but only when it’s approved by the organization.

  • Controversial topics like religion and politics are not allowed.

  • Don’t share illegal content.

  • Follow the teamlead’s and player guide’s instructions.

  • If you take part in roleplay follow the rules mentioned in the How to roleplay page.

  • Alt accounts are only allowed under very specific circumstances.

  • Inappropriate profile pictures, usernames, statuses, pronouns, or blank names are not allowed.

The staff reserves the right to remove and punish someone for any message or image of questionable nature, even when the thing in question is not explicitly described above.

When you see someone breaking any of these rules, or are offended by somebody’s behaviour, please contact a playerguide immediately in the form of a ticket or dm and try to avoid conflict.

Your presence in this server implies accepting these rules, including all future changes. These changes might be done at any time.

Code of conduct in regards to sessions

Since party compositions and DM's change around it's very important that everyone is on the same page when it comes to playing DnD in Domos.

  • Respect rulings DMs make during a session.

    • If you feel a ruling is unfair or incorrect, please approach the DM in question or the DM teamlead after the session. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, please approach a Player Guide through a ticket or private message.

  • Be on time for sessions and pay attention to the best of your abilities.

  • Make a character that will cooperate with others and that has decent motivations to be an adventurer.

  • Give every player room to shine. Don’t try to be the main character in every session. Everyone should be able to play an essential part in the story.

  • Take the organization’s work seriously and try to treat it with respect.

Punishment system

In Domos we use a 5 strike system. Upon any offense you will be granted a strike*, this will be communicated with the receiving party. When you reach 5 strikes, you will be banned from the server.

*Heavy infractions of the rules might garner more than one strike at once.

Rulings are made on a case-by-case basis, the severity of the broken rule and previous violations are things that are taken into account.

The Admins and Moderators will Mute/Kick/Ban per discretion. If you feel mistreated, create a ticket or send a PG or a Teamlead a private message and we will try to resolve the issue.

After a year of good conduct one strike can be removed.
