Profile

Known by the Dwarves as the God of Creation or Father of all Dwarves. Troiverg is rumored to have created the world and those living in it. He is most proud of his creations that were created in his own image, the dwarves standing proud and stout. He himself is most often described as a tall grey bearded dwarf bulging with muscles and covered in a small layer soot from his work on his forge. He is said to be the perfect or dwarfiest dwarf there ever was. He is harsh and stern but always act fair to all his creations.

Domains

Troiverg holds the domains of Dwarves, Crafting and Family within his portfolio. These can all be simplified to what it means to be a dwarf and what ideals should be lived by.

Clerics who devout their lives to Troiverg usually specialize in the Domains of Forge, Order, Knowledge or War, they harness his power in order to become experts in their respective fields, be it the crafting of arms or wielding them. But there are others who harness his essence of family to keep the living alive.

Troiverg is the only god known for having a family, less powerful but still important are his wife Ærona and his seven children: Baldurram, Breinsten, Daïrlin, Mailauf, Nradim, Skâldsten, Tvergsten. Providing and taking care of family is of great importance to Troiverg, and thus his followers.

Ideals

Go through

A problem should be faced head on, even if mountains are standing in your way.

If it's not broken don't fix it

New inventions are great, but old ones have been proven to work. Stick to the stuff you know.

Ale solves all

If you are between a rock and a hard place, take a step back and take a moment to enjoy a pint of ale. Then look at your problems again, they might not be as bad as you thought.

Rituals

Finishing a craft.

Especially after forging new equipment it is important for a follower of Troiverg to spit on the tool. This represents the passion and effort that went into crafting the tool.

Braiding of hair.

As dwarves consider their hair and beards as important parts of themselves, the braiding of said hair has almost become ritual like for followers of Troiverg. Friends and loved ones will come together to braid each others hair, while telling each other about their achievements and new endeavors.
