The Crimson College

Devotion in Destruction

After the great covering, the great dragons of Avanar grew weary of their neighbors. Though their land now constituted as a buffer, the largest cities still bordered these possibly dangerous countries. After great debate, the great wyrms came to a conclusion: Our only defense is a constant powerful magical deterrent. After several years of construction, a great tower got built, higher than some mountains and more colorful than a field of flowers. A deep red adorns the walls, with a great dome of brass adorning the top. This tower is completely isolated from Bu Birkata and Is built completely in the sea with its only entrance being a designated harbor built into the tower. The college mainly focuses on three things: Evocation, Conjuration, and the art of warfare. This is all done within the academy, from which none may leave during their education and zealot-like indoctrination. Students are chosen from a very young age by regularly looking for magically adept children from all the cities within the country. They are taken from their home and have their memories wiped, and are only taught what they need to know to be perfect soldiers. Everything and everyone is a threat, and all who do not follow the great dragons' wisdom should not be allowed to gain any ground in the perpetual cold war that has been waging for the past centuries.

Grandmasters and Libraries

The great college is ruled by three grandmasters: Haezoran the half-dragon, son of Ushrindi and master in the art of warfare. Theopania the witch from the far East, mistress of the dark and personal caretaker of the Shades, a group of zealots used in covert missions and Praeseren the divinely blessed, a tortle, sworn to stop war at all cost and chooses to do this with informational warfare and indoctrination.

These grandmasters have control over each of the pillars of the school, Evocation, Conjuration, and propaganda. Each takes a third of the students in classes no larger than fifty. At the end of their study, more than half will have died. Students of the crimson college have access to the library of Tratainauthfelingeir, which is part of his personal hoard. This library consists of tens of thousands of books, papers, scrolls, artifacts, and other prized items and magical trinkets.
