Zal’koth was feared for its immense size, strength, and magic, as well as its cruelty and hunger for flesh. It was said that Zal’koth could sink entire fleets with a single swipe of its tentacles, or summon storms and whirlpools to drown its enemies.

Zal’koth’s lair was a deep underwater cavern filled with treasure and bones, where it kept its human slaves as servants and food.

The gulf was named after the brave warriors (Bellatoris is warrior in celestial), who sacrificed themselves to end Zal’koth’s reign of terror.
