Doragyo

The Emperor's Fortress

Build on the south coastline, this fortress exists to protect Kiritani from invading forces.

Doragyo is a massive coastal fortress that guards one of the two main entrances to the Province of Yama. It is surrounded by a small village of fishermen and soldiers who help maintain and defend the fortress.

Doragyo is built on a rocky promontory that overlooks the sea, and has thick walls, towers, and cannons that can repel any naval attack. Doragyo is not the residence of the Shogun Haku, who prefers to live in the city of Kiritani deeper in the province, but it is his symbol of authority and power.

The commander of Doragyo takes his job very seriously, and is loyal to the Shogun Haku and his land. He is always vigilant for any signs of invasion or rebellion, and does not tolerate any weakness or corruption among his men.
