The City of Arcanocraft

What began as a small mining town has exploded into the largest city in the Territory of Edtalzum. This all started due to the discovery of Residuum, a silvery powder that absorbs parts of the weave. The only place Residuum has been found is in the Nexus Shaila.

Ruxio is a city of wonder and innovation, where Residuum and Arcanocraft shape the lives of its inhabitants. It is situated in the southern edge of the desert, near the Caecus Highlands, where Residuum is abundant.

Residuum is a mysterious and potent material that can power machines and enhance magic. The city was founded by a group of settlers who came to the desert in search of something long forgotten. They found Residuum and learned how to craft Residuum into various devices and contraptions, which they called Arcanocraft. The city grew rapidly as more people flocked to Ruxio to learn and profit from Residuum and Arcanocraft.

Ruxio became a hub of commerce and education, attracting traders, scholars, adventurers, and explorers from all over the world.

The city is composed of four districts: the Bazaar, where goods and services are traded; the Academy, where Arcanocraft is studied and developed; the Palace, where the duke and his court reside; and the Undercity, where the destitute and the unwanted dwell.

Ruxio is a city of diversity and discord, where riches and poverty, magic and technology, culture and change collide. It is a city of aspirations and perils, where Residuum and Arcanocraft offer endless possibilities.
