The Void is an endless darkness full of long manmade looking structures and walkways. If entered as a group, the members will soon find themselves isolated and alone, mostly. The shadow of any creature that enters the Void becomes Void-touched and alive. It can detach itself from the creature and slowly begin to take on a form that the shadow’s creature finds most terrifying. The more scared the creature becomes, the more powerful the shadow becomes. If the shadow manages to kill the creature, the shadow enters into the creature becoming a Reborn. People without shadows are either a Reborn or a creature that managed to kill their own shadow.

There are some people that learn methods of bending their Void-touched shadow to their will, becoming a Void Caller.

The inhabitants of this place are known as daemons.
