Divine Realm of Spirit Dragon
The Spirit Dragon, in contrast to many other gods, decided to make an existing location his divine plane. The area between practically all other divine planes became his home. This choice made it very easy for any other god to enter his divine plane, and periodically the Forever Serpent would venture into the Astral Sea to hunt down and battle the Spirit Dragon, but he was never able to do so because the Spirit Dragon was able to wander through it better than any other god.
The Spirit Dragon is imprisoned following the Divine Crisis, just like the other gods, but is, in contrast, more free.
Most people believe the Astral Sea to be a mere in-between, a void that separates the planes. A great sea of purple nebulous nothingness, every so often dotted by the apparition of interstellar pirates, or an unspeakable aberration from the great beyond. For the most part, they are right. Celestial or not, a sea is barren and desolate by definition.
