Racial Trait - Its Own Reward
Choose 2 skills that touch on your “Virtue” name. You gain a permanent +1 to those skills. This cannot be changed.
Racial Trait - Hellfire
Once per turn, when a Tiefling deals fire damage to a creature, they can cause the fire to sear with infernal intensity, adding their Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma modifier to the damage dealt.
Racial Trait - Abyssal Legacy
You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Shadow Blade spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Summon Shadowspawn spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Abyssal Tiefling
Tieflings share certain racial traits as a result of their abyssal descent.
Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 1, and your Constitution score increases by 2.
Age. Abyssal Tieflings mature at the same rate as humans but live a few years longer.
Size. Abyssal Tieflings are about the same size and build as humans. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. Thanks to your abyssal heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Shadowbending. While you remain motionless in an area of complete darkness, you may add your level to your stealth checks.
Voidwhisperer. As an action you can do any of the following.
Dim any number of lights within 10 feet of you.
Create a shadow on a 5 feet surface in a shape you will.
Silence a non-animate object that is not being held.
Create a shape made of inky darkness up to 10 inches.
Of the Void. You have proficiency with Intimidation checks.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Abyssal.
