Ch12 - Into the Sky Peaks

In which we:

Find out a bit more about Thyme, the half-elf we rescused from the crystal casket in the Blink Tower.
Discover that the ring of mind shielding contains a trapped, ancient soul - a dwarven king from the Age of a Thousand Kings, over 1000 years ago. He's a bit... crotchety...
Cole Treefell communicates with the king, and begins to write what he hopes to be his first, unique authored entry in the Eternal Archive: The Magnificent History of King Bodrak.
An arclight phoenix passes over, striking the land with lightning, seemingly headed for Barrwater Accord. We chase it off into the mountains.
Ash spots what could be the mine, and sees the broken shell of something (an aircraft? a means of transportation between worlds?!). Whatever came out of it killed a lot of goblins...
Cole Treefell identifies the ring as a Ring of Mind Shielding, and it contains another soul - the ancient Dwarven King Bodrak.
We head into the Sky Peaks, encountering a strange, insectoid mining machine. We destroy it.
We find the crash site of what appears to be a strange "airship". Seemingly no survivors, but we find recordings of an Eladrin who presumably commanded the ship. There are mentions of three others - Isobel, James and ?
Goblins attack... the Battle of the Barrwater Valley.
